Privacy policy
This policy describes personal data handled through paros.tours, and through email to info@ecaravan.gr or calls and messages to +30 697 981 9470 about Paros Tours. It is written for the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Greek Law 4624/2019.
Who we are
Paros Tours is an Ecaravan product. Ecaravan, whose registered operator is Christos Zografidis, is the controller for this website and for the emails, calls, and messages you send us about these tours. The company site is ecaravan.gr.
For any question about your data, write to info@ecaravan.gr or call +30 697 981 9470. Our postal address is sent on request.
What this website does not do
It does not use analytics, advertising, social plugins, or embedded players. The fonts and the map library are stored on this site, not loaded from a public font or script CDN. There is no account, no newsletter, and no form.
Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set strictly necessary security cookies. Those cookies are described on the cookie page.
If you contact us
We receive the email address or phone number you use, any name that comes with it, and whatever you choose to include: dates, how many people, which of the three tours, a pickup point, and anything else in the message or on the call. We use that to reply and, if you want to go ahead, to arrange the tour.
The legal basis is the booking itself, or steps you ask us to take before one, and our legitimate interest in answering you. We do not use it to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell it.
If a tour goes ahead and Greek tax or accounting law requires a record, we keep that record for the period the law sets. An enquiry that does not become a booking is kept only while we need it to correspond with you, and then deleted, unless a law requires us to keep it.
Hosting logs
Cloudflare, and the company that hosts the origin copy of this website, may keep ordinary server logs: an IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and the browser type. Those logs are for security and for keeping the site available. We do not use them to market to you. We have not set a separate analytics tool on top of them.
Who else sees it
The host of this website, Cloudflare (which protects it), and the provider of the mailbox at info@ecaravan.gr handle the data required to provide those services. If you message us on WhatsApp, Viber, or Telegram, that app carries the message under its own privacy terms. We do not pass guest details to advertisers or to other tour companies.
Cloudflare may see the IP address of a visitor, the page requested, and the result of a bot or challenge check. They may store a security cookie on the device for that purpose. We do not use that cookie for marketing. Cloudflare’s processing is described in their own privacy materials, and the cookie names are listed on our cookie page.
We have not added any analytics or advertising tool that sends visitor data to another country. Cloudflare and the messaging apps run worldwide networks, so a request or a message can be handled outside the EU under their own terms. Email you send is delivered to info@ecaravan.gr.
The map on the home page loads background tiles from OpenStreetMap. That request goes to their servers, so they can see the IP address of the device that opens the map. We do not receive that address. The map script itself is hosted on this site. The map loads only after you press Accept in the banner.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, for a correction, for erasure, for restriction, or for a copy of what you sent us. You can object to processing that is based on legitimate interest, including the hosting logs. You can also ask us to stop using your data for a tour enquiry.
Write to info@ecaravan.gr. We may ask you to confirm that you are the person the data is about before we act. We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.
You can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifisias 1–3, 115 23 Athens, dpa.gr. If you are not able to use the Authority’s Greek portal, you can write to complaints@dpa.gr.
Children
The site is written for adults choosing a tour. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If a child has written to us, ask us to delete that message.
Language
Your language is part of the page address, such as /el/ for Greek. Choosing a language opens that address; nothing is stored on your device.
Changes
If we add an optional cookie, analytics, or any other tool that collects data beyond Cloudflare’s security cookies, we will change this page and the cookie page before that tool is switched on. This version is dated 25 September 2026. The legal notice covers what this website is, and what it is not.
